PARTICIPATION in BioActive 2026 is FREE OF CHARGE !

Participation in the conference is free of charge for authors presenting oral or poster contributions, thanks to funding provided by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) within the INBIOWAL project.

 

Registration for BioActive 2026 – International Conference on Bioactive Compounds is conducted exclusively via the online registration form.

 

To register for the conference, please complete the registration form available at the link above and provide all required information. Authors wishing to present an oral or poster contribution must submit their abstract during the registration process.

 

Abstract submission and registration will be open from 2 January 2026 to 2 March 2026. Submissions received after the deadline will not be considered.

 

All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by at least two members of the Scientific Committee. The presenting author will be notified of the abstract acceptance by 22 March 2026.

 

All information submitted via the registration form will be used solely for organisational purposes related to BioActive 2026.

Submission Guidlines

Oral Presentations

Authors whose abstracts have been accepted for oral or flash presentations are kindly requested to prepare their presentations in accordance with the guidelines outlined below.

 

All presentations should be delivered using a computer-based presentation (e.g. PowerPoint or PDF format) and presented on-site during the conference sessions. Presenters are advised to ensure that their files are compatible with standard presentation software and to upload or test their presentations in advance, according to the instructions provided by the Organising Committee.

Time Limits

To ensure a smooth and well-structured scientific programme, the following time limits apply:

 

PLENARY LECTURE – 40 minutes (including discussion)

ORAL PRESENTATION – 15 minutes (including discussion)

FLASH PRESENTATION – 3 minutes

 

Presenters are kindly requested to strictly adhere to the allocated time limits.

Posters

For poster presentations, the poster size must not exceed A1 format (594 mm × 841 mm) and should be prepared in vertical orientation.

Abstract

Abstracts must be prepared exclusively using the official BioActive 2026 Abstract Template which is provided below. 

 

The abstract file must be saved in .doc or .docx format and named according to the following rule: FirstAuthorSurname.doc or FirstAuthorSurname.docx

Submissions prepared in a different format or not complying with the template requirements may not be considered for review.

 

All instructional text written in square brackets [ ] within the template serves as placeholder text and must be replaced with the author’s own content. No placeholder or instructional text should remain in the final version of the abstract.

 

The abstract should clearly and concisely describe the aim of the study, methodology, key results and main conclusions. Excessive background information should be avoided.

 

The entire abstract, including text, figures, tables, acknowledgements and references, must fit on one A4 page.

Figures and Tables

Figures and tables may be included only if they are essential for the presentation of the results.

 

If a figure is included, authors should replace the example figure provided in the template with their own figure. Figures must be placed inline with the text and their position, size and formatting should not be modified.

 

If a table is included, authors should copy the example table provided in the template and replace its content with their own data. Tables should not be created from scratch and their formatting must remain unchanged.

 

Each figure and table must be cited in the text (e.g. Fig. 1, Table 1).

Acknowledgements

The Acknowledgements section is optional.
If acknowledgements are not included, the entire section should be deleted from the abstract.

References

References must be formatted according to the examples provided in the abstract template. They should be numbered consecutively in the order of appearance and listed at the end of the abstract. Only references cited in the text should be included.

Submission Procedure

Prepared abstracts must be submitted via the online registration and abstract submission form available on the conference website. Authors are advised to ensure that their manuscript fully complies with the submission guidelines before completing the registration process.

Important Note

All abstracts of accepted oral and poster presentations will be published in the BioActive 2026 Book of Abstracts, which will be available online after the conference.

 

Abstracts that do not comply with the official BioActive 2026 Abstract Template and Submission Guidelines may be returned for revision or rejected.
